Barbara offers a deep wealth of Yogic alignment work and a light heart during a flow of poses in a 90 degreee studio.The studio is quite large with a high ceiling. It’s a great space for live music and Yoga. I’ll play Bansuri (Indian), Egyptian, and Dizi (Chinese) bamboo flutes, American Indian Flute, Alto Flute, Tablas (Indian hand drums), Udus ( African Clay Pot), and 2 huge Balinese Gongs. Using a digital looper to record myself live, and ambient tracks from my own Yellow Bell CDs as backgrounds for my live performance, I will follow the energy of the class from Invocation to deep relaxation. Barb and I have been singing Mantras in harmony to start and end the class! 1 1/2 hours (8:30-10 AM).

You are invited to a week long Yoga/Sailing retreat on the island of Ibiza for seven nights from October 8th through the 14th, 2006.
Barbara Sloan and Richard Brookens will teach morning Yoga classes including Pranayama and Meditation, drawing on Sivananda and Vinyasa practices.
